Town Centre Chaplaincy has blossomed in the last ten years. Many cities, towns and town centres are supported by one or more chaplains.

Town Centre Chaplains can often provide a much needed link between the people who make decisions about towns (councils, site owners etc.) and the people who actually work in these places, all of course, with the prior agreement, usually enthusiasm, of all involved.
The chaplaincy is open to all without discrimination. The role is friendship among people of any faith, and none. Chaplains are listeners who are interested in your concerns.

Anything shared can be shared in confidence. Should a chaplain wish to take an enquiry further (perhaps sharing it with other chaplains) they would always obtain permission.

Our team of Chaplains is presently focussing on the centre of Abingdon and all the challenges it faces in a recession, with all the uncertainties that brings.
